Umaru Shehu became born in Maiduguri on eight December 1930. He attended essential college from 1935 to 1940, followed via middle faculty from 1941 to 1943 in Maiduguri.
Among 1944 and 1947, he studied at Kaduna college in Zaria, proceeded to college college Ibadan from 1948 to 1953, and frolicked on the university of Liverpool in separate durations, between 1953 and 1956, and once more from 1966 to 1967. Career:
In 1957, after finishing his medical training, Shehu commenced working as a Pre-registration house health practitioner at the Southport Infirmary within the united kingdom.
